Over the past few months, Rothley Metal Sheet merchandise stands have been refreshed across Wickes stores nationwide. During this time, over 20 Wickes stores have been upgraded with a fresh Rothley Metal Sheet POS board. In this blog, we delve further into the Rothley Wickes Store rollout process. Let's go!

What Did The Wickes Rollout Include?
Wickes is a major UK-based home improvement retailer, selling a wide range of DIY products, building supplies, home renovation tools, and more.
Rothley's main objective of this Wickes rollout was to upgrade the point of sale (POS) and implement a range refresh on our Metal Sheet stand across Wickes stores. The goal was to replace outdated imagery, graphics, and label descriptions with updated content.
Before the rollout, Rothley Profile and Metal Sheet stands were displayed side by side in Wickes stores. However, since the Profile stand had been updated a few months prior, the two featured different designs and looked messy placed together. With the introduction of the new black Metal Sheet board, both displays now form a matching pair. In addition, each metal sheet product has been colour-coded according to its material, creating a clearer and smoother shopping experience for customers.

The process began locally, near the Rothley HQ. Starting the refresh in Wolverhampton and Cannock stores before moving on to the first major city, Birmingham.

It was great to see the before and after look of the stands, seeing how well uniformed they looked side by side once the refresh was done. Take a look at two Wickes stores in Basingstoke and Slough.

As we entered the later weeks of March, stores in Southport and Widnes also got their much-needed glow-up.
