Last week, Rothley attended the NMBS Exhibition 2026, the UK's leading exhibition for independent building, timber, plumbing, and hardware merchants. It was a two-day event, running from April 15th to April 16th, where we had the chance to meet our customers, see some familiar faces, and generate new leads.

What Opportunity Did Rothley Have At NMBS 2026?
With over 200 exhibitors at the NMBS Exhibition, which was held at the Coventry Building Society Arena, at Rothley, we had a great chance to boost both immediate sales and long-term growth. By showcasing a select range of products, including handrails, grab rails, twinslot shelving, hooks, and profiles, we were able to show off our product quality, ease of installation, and finish options.
It was a fantastic chance to show off our product range in person to our customers, whilst also chatting to them about our best-selling products, current and future offers we have available to trade accounts, and merchandise options. At the end, we made sure to give each visitor a little souvenir, a Rothley tote bag, a highlighter, a catalogue, a pen and a notepad.
NMBS Preparation Timeline:
2nd March 2026 - Laying products onto boards before installing.
8th April 2026 - Stand set up and complete at Rothleys Office HQ
14th April 2026 - Setting up the NMBS stand, the framework, installing the first product board and the empty profile stand.
14th April 2026 - The almost complete stand, all product boards attached and the final profiles added to the profile stand.
15th April 2026 - Our lovely sales team at NMBS Day 1, ready for a busy 2 days.
